You can have apps that are whitelisted killed after 30 minutes of screen off time. This timer is reset whenever you turn off your screen. The wifi switch and wifi management features of the app will automatically switch between wifi and data mode based on whether or not the user manually enables wifi. Moreover, when you turn your screen back on, it will automatically re-enable and switch your wifi/data for you with the wifi timer switch feature!

Q: I'm not sure if whitelisting apps is working for me, sometimes the status updates as inactive, sometimes it doesn't.
A: Updating the status with inactivity because of whitelist apps occurs only when the screen is off in order to prevent
phone lag. To make sure your whitelist is working you can turn your screen off and on to see if the status changes.
Q: How come whitelisting apps doesn't show up with any apps or it only shows hvpang.screenoffmanager?
A: Newer versions of Android have removed the ability to view running processes without root.
Q: When I put my phone is in Wifi Mode and I turn on my screen, it says Data Mode very briefly, why is this?
A: This is because the app has enabled your Wifi and it is waiting for it to connect, while your wifi is connecting, the app switches to data mode in case wifi fails to connect. If wifi does connect, wifi mode will be reinstated.
